as sri-lanka team was favourite team;because of continued wining till to semi-final;in comparission pakistan had lost two games in super @;pakistan had 20 0/0 less chance to win;while sri-lanka had 80 0/0 to win;actually pakistan lost toss;but wining toss by sri-lanka to decide to batting;opened a gate to win for pakistan;moreover sri-lankan had hope from their top-line battsmen;but unfortunately they couldnot success;hence one by one most famous batsmen went out;and pakistani ballars gained game into their favour;6wts had been down;and 4 remaining wickets were to be down soon;but that moment sri-lankan team captain sangara took out from trouble;and sri-lankan had hoped to still win;but their ballars couldnot success only 2 wickets could be taken by them;but last 5 overs games were seen that sri-lankan tean trying to give slow runs;but that time shahid afridi pull-out pakistan and made few sixwes which pakistan led to wining;pakistan won this mega-event after 17 years;now ICC authority have to change their decission and pakistan should return next world cup in pakistan;;mumtaz-21-06-2009
